Took long enough, but after Boston, I finally made it into the official ranks of AGA danhood. Barely so, but I'll take it. I am 1.00839 now, so I'd better play well next time and increase that a bit.
Boston somehow motivated me to get back into being obsessed with baduk (well, as much as I can be with all the stuff in my life going on at the moment) Decided that reading novels will be out for a while, it's go problem books all the way. And I am studying Appreciating Famous Games, although it's slow going. Very enjoyable though.

Congratulations! I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the tourney; it sounds like it was fun, and I feel like I've gotten a lot stronger since my last tourney. Oh, well, maybe the next one, or maybe I'll try to make it to the Western Mass tournament.
Big congrats on shodan!
Congratulations! I have a long way to go myself, but every new shodan is an inspiration.
Right now I feel like I make the most progress by letting go of my desire to win. I'm not sure if being inspired by shodan makes that any easier (lol) but if it were easy, where would be the joy in playing?
Congratulations!!
And good luck on the next part of your journey.

That means you can start charging real money for lessons, right?
Congratulations!
I'm a fan of your blog and I just created mine. I linked your in my favorites section, if you don't mind. =]
Mine is written in portuguese because I live in Brazil, so the chances are that you won't understand it but oh well..
Keep up the good work! *o*
