Mine managed...Don't worry too much about KGS ranks. Mine managed to get up and down on its own volution in a matter of a few days. Also, KGS is usually played faster than when you play in front of someone and you can take your time to analyze your moves. <br /><br />I like the Many Faces of Go program, but as people use to say, if you play a program too much you'll learn bad habits that work with it. I'd love to be a shodan, but I realize that I lack the time needed to do it. The best advice I've received is to play a game every day, and review it (even if it's on your own). Life and death problems, the kind you read all the way to the end, and never play anything helps.<br /><br />Anyway, good luck!
